This past month I have been going over a few zombie questions in my head, and thinking about whether my theories about zombies would be close to the truth. I mean, unless some douche decided to make zombies in his basement laboratory and not tell anyone; there aren’t any zombies out there … yet. Time to break the moment of tension, here are the mind-boggling questions. Zombies are decaying with each passing hour, why is it that even at the beginning of zombie outbreaks in the movies… no one smells the rotting corpse that wants to eat their brain? The other question that has been brought up in conversation (and what a conversation) is… Do zombies poop? I know no one wants to talk about poop, but as the popular book says, “everybody poops”.

I have discussed these issues with many of my friends, and we have concluded an opinion that makes the most sense. Zombies are reanimated dead people, bringing about the point of whether or not they smell bad. The automatic answer is… Yes! I think you would be able to smell a zombie if the outbreak hadn’t gotten so bad that the world smelled of death and rotting flesh. So would the main character smell the zombies? It all depends on the circumstances. I mean obviously you would smell dead flesh if you were down wind for it.

Now, do zombies poop? Yes! Zombies poop, but because of the taboo of going number two this issue hasn’t been discussed amongst many people (that I know of). Think about it, zombies eat your flesh or brains, depending on which type of zombie you are talking about. Now because they are reanimated the flesh moves through the system but doesn’t digest. Now that means worse smelling zombies which brings about the first point … yes… you can smell a zombie and they poop!
