Things look different

Welcome to the new and slightly improved Mad World Radio: The Blog, I am sure you’re all wondering what is going and why everything looks different.

MWR: The Blog got hacked, well that isn’t exactly true. Some malware got added to the coding of the site and I couldn’t locate it. So I nuked the blog and rebuilt. I am hoping that the measures in place to ensure our security will help. WordPress is a good tool, but admittedly it does have some issues.

So we have a couple of new things that you’ll all just have to deal with, but we have made certain things a little easier. Like our newsletter. Now when you sign up for MWR: The Blog, you’ll be auto-added to the subscription list for the newsletter. You can opt out at anytime, but why would you want to?

We are also attempting to make the content delivery a bit more streamlined. Using our categories more properly, you’ll be able to fast nav to whatever your are in the mood for that day.  Some of the new categories are…

  • Don’t Flog My Blog (all the wank worthy posts will be found here)
  • WTF Wednesday (My day to showcase the shit that makes even me say “WTF”)
  • Devilish Reviews (by Billy Zebubba)
  • Causes (all the stuff we care about helping with)

That is just a taste of what is in store for you. We have many more things coming down the pike.

You may also notice that underneath where you can log in is a box called “Contact Us” there you now can submit links and articles of your own for possible posts here on Mad World Radio: The Blog. Yes you can have your 15 minutes of fame by becoming a contributor. You can also email me and tell me how we’re doing or what you think as well as contacting Liz for booking or advertising.

I also want to hear what you’d like to see here on the blog. So go forth and investigate our new blog.
